Tori and Taryn's Traveling Treasures

Tori and I met the first day of Kindergarten. Through our 43 years of friendship, we have weathered life's ups and downs together including the births of our children, the deaths of our parents and many other triumphs and tribulations. My mother died of breast cancer in 2008. Unthinkably, my best friend Tori was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2023 and continues to win her battle through the help of doctors and with the support of an organization called The Breasties, a non-profit group which raises money to provide women with an essential network of fellow survivors, and resources.

The Breasties hosts a 4 day Camp Breastie and conference for women affected by gynecological and breast cancers annually. Tori and I have been granted scholarships to attend in Early June, 2025! We are planning a road trip across the country from Colorado to PA to attend camp and then dipping down to visit a few Southern states along the way home. We are overjoyed and can't wait to get on the road!
