Tori and Taryn's Traveling Treasures

Tori and Taryn met on the first day of Kindergarten in 1981. Through their 44 years of friendship, They have weathered life's ups and downs together including marriages, divorces, the births of children, the deaths of parents and many other triumphs and tribulations. Taryn's mother died of breast cancer in 2008. Unthinkably, Tori was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2023 and continues to win her battle with the help of doctors and the support of family, friends and a community called The Breasties. The Breasties is a non-profit community for anyone affected by breast or gynecologic cancers providing women with an essential network of fellow survivors, and resources.

During their epic road trip in June of 2025, Taryn and Tori came up with the idea for their podcast, Healing with Traveling Treasures. Interviews and conversations will center around topics related to health, family, friendship, travel and creativity.
